Every month our trainer's try to scout out a handful of horses that have potential from the auction house near us and give them 30 days of basic training. At the end of the month each horse will be listed at our auction that will last roughly a week unless we decide to hold one back. All horses that do not sell will be kept in the program, will be given continued training and will be listed at the next auction. However the longer they stay the higher the starting bid will be at the next auction. If no horses are selling the program will be put on pause until all current stock has been sold to prevent overload on the staff and neglect to the horses.
Any adult horses ready to find new homes will be listed here besides the ones listed at the auction house. These could be anything from retired stock to horses we just don't have room for anymore and would like to see them in a home where they will be loved on.
Our foal crops tie into our breeding program but will be listed here nonetheless. Once a (sim) year our broodmares are bred with ideal goals for offspring. Any foals we don't plan on keeping for our own stock will be listed here for sale. They'll be here for a limited time before they get moved to the sale barn. All foals will remain with their mothers until proper weaning has taken place. Around 7-8 months is the earliest we will consider adopting them out. (the adopter can choose to receive either a 7-8mo old weanling or a 2yr old)

Barn Name: Piccolo Age: 2 Genotype: ee Aa nT Height: 15hh Training: 30 Days; Green Broke. Personality: Piccolo has proven to be very finicky, if you don't know what you're doing she'll take complete advantage of you. She has been under saddle successfully but needs a bit of work and refining. Piccolo tends to hold air when being saddled up so make sure you do a second tightening before mounting. She also has a very bad habit of pulling back when tied up so she cannot be hard tied yet, Martin has been working closely with her on this. Piccolo is also still pretty nippy and will bite at any oblivious bystander.
Overall Piccolo is recommended to be sold to an experienced rider/owner. She has been with us 30 days and could probably stay another 30 to be refined a little more. She has a very elegant gait so she's got some potential as an eventer but currently she is not being training in any particular discipline.

Barn Name: Alex Age: 6 Genotype: EE AA nT Height: 15hh Training: 30 Days, Broke. Personality: On the first day of training Alex knew most of what we were asking of him and has decent ground manners so he was well trained with his previous owner. That being said he does really well in western tack, can work cows really well and even seems to enjoy it. He's easy to handle on the ground and really enjoys being the center of attention. We've also discovered he has an odd fear of pigs and he loves sweet potatoes.
Overall Alex has done really well with us over the last 30 days and will be an excellent working cow horse if his owner decides to go that route with him. Being young we recommend Alex be sold to at least an intermediate rider, he shows really great potential and would do great with someone to finish him up but he is broke enough to have an inexperienced rider on him.
