Setting
It’s the end of spring and the cold winter is a distant memory. There is an air of celebration as people gather to display their crafts and market their wares. Street vendors sell tasty morsels and performers entertain the crowds. Livestock are paraded in the many arenas to potential buyers. The best quality horses are on display and riders show their prospects for the coming competition season. The Spring Festival is the time to show off your foals, youngsters, breeding and competition horses.
This is a traditional (picture) show. To enter, you will need:
All Iberian horses and ponies are welcome, including crossbred or grade horses with Iberian ancestry. Registration with the association is not required for entry and prizes, but leader board points will only be awarded to registered horses. Register your horses here.
Points will be awarded differently in this show. Your score from the judge will be added directly to your horse’s leader board tally. This will be up to 25 points for an edited class entry and up to 20 points for an unedited class entry.
- a conformation picture of your horse,
- a movement picture, and
- a short story.
