Welcome to GRC's Inaugural Race Meet!
8/4/2020 - 8/18/2020
We have a busy weekend full of races! Select the event below to see the distance and surface of the races as well as what ages and genders are being offered. All of this weekend is supposed to be nice and sunny with not a cloud in sight!
-Horses must be registered with GRC to compete.
-Jockeys do NOT have to be registered to compete, but they do have to be registered with the Roach Club to earn points.
-Jockeys can only race once in a given race. For example John Smith could ride a horse in the 1st flat race and the 1st stock race, but he can NOT ride 2 horses in the 1st flat race. He can't be on two different horses in the same race.
-The entry fee is $25. Most of this goes to this race's purse with a small percentage going into the club account for future races.
-Send entry fees to the club's main site account with a note saying "GRC Inaugural Meet 2020". Please try to send all entry fees together.
-Entry fees must be paid by the closing date.
-Surface & distance preference scores, pedigree and jockey bonuses, as well as a random score will be added together for your total.
-In the event of a tie, another random score will be rolled and the highest score will win the tie.
-Horses will race in groups of 7 for this event. If there are any empty spaces, a ghost horse will fill them. These horses will be gaining placements and will be up for auction at some point in the future.
