The purpose of this show is to introduce quality pedigrees once again and encourage members to breed their best horses. We are therefore excited about hosting a show solely about mares and their foals. We want to excite members to focus on selecting their breeding sires and dams more carefully to better promote a higher quality of horses of the Warmblood breed.
Below we will explain everything you need to know to enter the show.
– All entries must be submitted through the form at the end of the post or your entry will be disqualified.
– All entries must be taken in our show world. Entries using a different world will be disqualified.
– Your foal must be registered with the WBA on either Cavaletti (+ have a mainsite profile) or Cavallo to enter the show and get a grading.
– If your horse is registered on Cavaletti you must only post your entry on Cavaletti. If you compete in a different server than where the horse is registered your horse will be disqualified.
– Foals must be 2nd generation and up only. No foundations
– Your mare must be registered with the WBA & you must provide an unedited conformation image of the her if she is entering. These pictures may be taken anywhere in our world, any other world or a studio. No CAS pictures allowed. Reshade DOF is allowed if desired.
– If you do not want your mare to be graded you do not have to provide a confo pic of her but she still needs to be registered with the WBA. Please type “no grading” in your form under the mare section next to her name.
– An unedited adult conformation picture of the foal(s) must be provided, without one your entry will be disqualified.These pictures may be taken anywhere in our world, any other world or a studio. No CAS pictures allowed. Reshade DOF is allowed if desired.
– A mare can participate with up to 2 foals in the same entry as long as they are both visible and adult conformation pictures are provided separately.
– Surrogates/adoptive mothers are allowed in the show but will not provide foals with any leaderboard points, only biological mothers will.
– A mare can show two foals that does not necessarily need to be siblings.
– You must submit 1 photo per entry. More pictures are welcome but please only submit your main picture on the form.
– Your horse(s) can only enter one class.
– Maximum amount of entries per member – 3.
– Every member will leave the show with a grading.
– Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
– Pictures must be taken for this show only, no pre-made entries allowed.
– Your foal(s) must be fully visible in your image.
– Handlers do not need to be visible in your entry but if they are present they need to be at least 18 y/o.
– No photo manipulation (no real horse images on top of your horse) when editing your entries.
– If you edit your photos you must provide an unedited version in the intermediate class.
– You may use reshade in all classes.
– Pre-made hairs must be fully credited if used and may not be used in the advanced class.
– Images do not have to be conformation or movement based only since you will be providing us with unedited conformation images. We encourage everyone to be creative and have fun with their entries! Make sure all horses are visible though!
BEGINNER – UNEDITED
No editing allowed (fixing clipping issues, adding reins/lead ropes and depth of field/blur is allowed) Editing will not be taken into consideration in the grading of the horse.
Horses graded Elite will earn 8 points
Horse graded Supreme will earn 6 points
Horses graded Premium will earn 4 points
INTERMEDIATE – EDITED (Editing will not be judged)
You may edit as much as you want but it will not be taken into consideration in judging.
This is a great option for people who like to edit but are not confident enough to have it judged, or for people who just enjoy the process but don’t necessarily want it judged.
Horses graded Elite will earn 10 points
Horse graded Supreme will earn 8 points
Horses graded Premium will earn 6 points
ADVANCED – EDITED (Judged)
Editing will be judged and will affect your final score as well as providing a bigger amount of points awarded.
What we are looking for here is coherence in editing as well as overall quality of the editing in your picture.
Horses graded Elite will earn 12 points
Horse graded Supreme will earn 10 points
Horses graded Premium will earn 8 points
Mares that are not graded for this show will still receive 5 participation points
To be able to participate in the show you will need to pre-register your mares and your foals with us so we can get an idea of the number of entrants but also so we are able to send you all the cc necessary for you to show with us in our winter wonderland world that we’ve modified to fit the holiday theme! It's also important that you read through the rules before you submit your horses for pre-registration. Happy showing!
